First Maine girl over 11'6 Indoors
Beth Dumas a junior from Cony HS in Augusta Maine vaulted 11'6 this evening 1/3 at a jump meet at USM. Although she has vaulted 12'0 outdoors this was her first time over 11'6 indoors. She will be at Dartmouth Relays this weekend shooting for that 12'0 barrier.

Maine's first 15'0 vaulter
David Slovenski a junior at Brunswick high school in Maine, cleared 15'0 on 12/16 at the Bowdoin Relays held at Bowdoin College. This is the first time a Maine high school boy has cleared the 15'0 barrier. I wouldn't be surprised to see him keep rising the bar.
