hi everybody,
very interesting videos, especially for shorter vaulters like me!! It seems that he is very very fast, i would like to know how fast was he? do you guys have any of his times?

finally I didnt cut the pole , I am holding it from 15' and I am jumping well ( I just had some problem in the begening because i didnt have intermediate poles but now its ok!)

my question is in the title, so is there a special technic to cut poles so that they stay safe ?
I used to jump with a 155/15'1 with a grip of 14'6 -14'9
and i got to new poles ; 160/16'1 165'/16'5 (too long to jump with them without cut)
so what can you suggest to me ?

Ok coach, I'll work on it ! :yes: I know something, its that I always had that problem of take-off in the long jump. I always make my take off with a bent knee and I never arrived to extend my leg completely ! so I gess its shoud be the same problem your talking about ?! Is it a technical problem or...

I would like to say that my wide grip , and my take off under(about 1 feet) are two problems I have always wanted to resolve without success!
