i tried 4 different sports store and none of them had gym floor tape. chicks sporting goods said they could special order it for me, but itd take too long. big 5 didnt even know what i was talking about. sports authority...they need to get on the ball. and sports chalet had the tape on their website...

i started straight poling as soon as i started vaulting. so around 8-8'6". At my frist meet i starting bending my pole and got 9'6. so i cant really say i straight poled over a bar at a competition

so we CAN wrap our poles in protective tape nearly all the way up top? There isnt a rule about doing that? My coach says i cant do that but im getting a new pole soon and i want to know if i can or cant. if i can then thats awesome!

well the meet was at home. we dont have a big inventory of poles. I couldve tried the 13'7 130 pole but ive never jumped on it before and my head was hurting. I am a little mad that i didnt get to finish. Today was supposed to be the day i PR'd :crying:

if you can contact Dick pond athletics you can get older model jump spikes. i got the mizuno triple jump/ pole vault spike for $54 i think. and ive only seen one other person have it too.
