So, we're getting into the season, and I'm doing pretty good, I got 10' 6 yesterday, but I have a pole that's kind of a security blanket, it's an old and nasty (I call it old nasty) pole, a 12 ft, 150 lbs, and I held at the top of it before, but I got a new pole, a 14 ft, 140 lbs (it's pretty soft),...

figures coming from colorado, haha. I remember a girl from i think.... mississippi at USATF indoor nationals who was in 8th grade and ran 4:58 or something ridiculous like that. WHen they anounced her for her award they had to say "from *Blank* Middle school" rather than "from *blank* high school"....

I just found out that i won't be able to practice at my stadium until hurricane season is over (and they don't want us on their perfect football field)

would frog jumps apply, when i got in trouble one of my coaches made me do those till i couldn't walk

I was somewhat in the same boat as you were a month ago, but i had to share the pole with two other people, and it was a real pain to get much height

my coach tried to get me to "make it like a long jump" but it doesn't really work for me, i think that's what you're describing

sorry, i was talking about the stadium pit though, the backyard thing is still in hiatus, but would you know if the school board still has any say on whether i can have a club at the track?

I think i would like to put a pit into my backyard, because I talked to some poeple, and they doubt that the school board would allow it. How does that kind of thing work, and do I even need their permission?
