Kirsten Weber of squalicum high jumped 13'1" today in rain and nasty cross winds. Her Team mate Maddy jumped 12'6" for a new PR also

she should have made 12'9" but I moved the standards back all the way on her, the 12'9" attempt and others are on burlington edison pole vault's facebook page.

Summer Cull

I was very impressed watching her vault. She is going to threaten the state record before she graduates. I've seen few girl vaulters time up with the pole and come off the top like she was today she cleared 11'1" by nearly a foot!

I wish I had more time to discuss this. I think you are basically right. the differences will be more the individuals- previously learned good or bad motor pathways, motor group fiber type/size, thresholds of activation for the IIb large motor groups.
