my resoning behind moving to a longer pole is that if you have 2 poles of similar weight but 1 is longer the longer 1 will be able to bend more easaly...does this make sense? im bending the pole about 2 or 3 inches mostly just my weight landing on it

poles

im currently on a 14' 180lb pole next year ill probably going to be about 6'3" and 185 lbs im a first year vaulter not bending and holding at the top of the pole im clearing 10' next year im getting a new pole any suggestions im thinking of moving to a 15 or 16' pole any suggestions?

i dont have any video of me jumping and the seasons over but im going to a camp that will tape me and ill post in a few weeks im still wondering if i should stick with a 14' pole or move to a 15' or bigger im holding the top of pole the pole and landing plenty deep in the pit... if i moved up higher...

wouldnt a longer pole be harder to bend? im on the longest /heviest pole we have so im geting a new pole next year by then ill probably be 185+ - and 6'3" my best time in the 100m in 12.06 any recomendations on a new pole?

the pole is a 180 im 176 and 6'2"i can get a little bend if i intentionaly stall and hang on it. but that dosent do me much good

When you went from straight poleing to bending what was the key thing that just clicked to get you bending? or was it a slow prosses alsow what height were you at?
