Re: Lets Discuss Pits

Call one of the other equipment dealers (Bell Athletics, OnTrack, First to the Finish, etc.) and I can almost guarantee that they can get you a pit delivered for less than $13K.

The First Place pits are a fine product, but there are other options that might be less money.

Re: Pre-season Vaulting (summer and fall vaulting)

There are a specific number of days you can have mandatory activities, however there is no real limit on how many days you could vault as long as it is optional.

Re: New Box Collar Rule Interpretation (USTFCCCA)

We had our first competition with the new collar last night. On two different jumps the collar bounced the pole back into the bar after the athlete attempted to throw the pole back. Luckily the official was on top of things and awarded the bar, but this design flaw needs to be worked out. I'm not op...

Re: Swing Up Invert Trainer

Probably the best vault simulator I've come across. I'm not sure how well beginners will be able to use it, but for intermediate to advanced athletes I think it is very good.

[quote="KLocke"]Right on Levi. Raise Your Bar! You are describing Chad Harting without the "wife". He also worked and jumped over 19 feet and competed in the Olympics.

Not sure about the alcohol part for Chad :dazed:

That is a very sad picture! I suggest calling UCS and getting their opinion on the safety of the foam. You may have a liability issue going forward.

Re: Tips for people going to the Pole Vault Summit

If you are checking a bag anyway, pack some snacks. They are not always easy to come by at the nugget and the arena.
