Re: left arm, swing relation

I used to be a big left arm type of a jumper, kyle will attest to that. As a result of my left hand pressure there were some good things happening, but also one crucial bad thing. Before i'd make my move to extend up the pole, i would tug on my left arm for some innate, stupid reason. I have no idea...

Re: 10 things everyone should consider while lifting

dude,

we're pole vaulters. We operate on the premise of, what Ali G would call - "respekt". We all realize there is more than one way to skin this awkward cat.

Re: P90 X

p90x is not an athletic strength and conditioning program. Far from it. your better off not wasting the energy or time, unless ofcourse your getting ready for spring break 2010.

no high intensity nervous system recruitment, no high threshold fibers activated. Skip it.

Re: 10 things everyone should consider while lifting

5. Pole vaulters are not Olympic lifters. This is going to be the point I get the most heat about. But its true. And every top strength coach/track coach I've ever heard of shares this view. Joe Defranco, Charlie Francis, Tudor bompa, Yuri Verkhoshansky, etc. They are all astounded by the United Sta...
