Re: Is this Box legal/safe?

They might if you point out your concern, and have other coaches with the same opinion and concerns speak up . It's worth a shoot. We need coaches like yourself that keep their eyes open and try to manage the risks in this event for the athletes we coach. Good luck and keep it safe

Re: Is this Box legal/safe?

as I look at the photo it is hard to tell but is that dirt at the bottom, that is to say is the bottom rusted out if so that in itself would make it unsafe as far as I would be concurred. yes the screws should be made flush and the top of the box seems to have a flat or at least a hard edge which al...

I have found that to protect the poles better and to make sure that they stay dry I put my poles inside a double lined corrugated drain pipe or a thin wall plastic drain pipe with caps on ...

Re: Hugging the pole.....

I totally understand, the suggestion that a gave you is just one of may drills that will help jumpers. But the advice is based on the assumption that other aspects of her run and takeoff are right or at least close. and that she is on the correct pole for her power and weight. yes you are right her ...

Re: Hugging the pole.....

I would not disagree with you how ever there is no indication that she is under and a 11 foot jumper should be high enough on a pole to create space. push plants done right give the vaulter the opportunity to feel that rock hard line that you are talking about. if she is given the opportunity to fee...

Re: Hugging the pole.....

Is there any one, coach, team mate that knows how to do push plants.
