Training Poles
I am trying to find the rule about use of training poles in High School meets. I found the 2012 and 2013 rule books for NFHS - 2012 states they are not legal, 2013 does not mention them at all. I looked for the rule changes between now and then as well, with no success. I am sure I just missed it so...

I have an athlete jumping on an older skypole 13'6 140lb. His grip is about 9'' under the limit and the pole performs well. Ok so were looking to buy new pole vault pits but cant seem to sort it out. One place wants almost $20,000 after tax for just the pits and a weather cover. Then gill has a cheap one for about $9,000 for the pits and weather cover. Ive heard from other coaches to stay away from the "cheap" ...
