A male track athlete is accused of sexually assaulting two female teammates. The school claims it would be retaliation to remove him from the team during the Title IX investigation. The rest of the team refuses to practice/compete as long as that athlete is on the team. Finally the athlete in question quits the team.
The NCAA has testified over and over that they do not have a duty to protect athletes. When someone tells you who they are, believe them.
